FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • No! That’s the beauty of Goat Yoga—our classes are taught at the beginner level with options to modify postures to the participant’s level of comfort. And honestly—the goats don’t judge!

  • For the health and safety of participants and goats alike, we recommend that participants be at least 8 years of age and accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • I mean… goats poop. But never fear—goat pellets are round and typically will just roll off of your mat, and we will have cleaning supplies available incase you need to wipe off your mat during class.

  • Goats are naturally not aggressive but they ARE nosy and curious! They may nibble on clothes or hair. We recommend not putting your hands in the goats’ mouths to avoid any unwanted nibbles.

  • We recommend comfortable clothing for class that you don’t mind getting dirty as this is an outdoor activity. Additionally, we recommend cotton t-shirt vs sports bras or sleeveless athletic tops because goat hooves are sometimes rough and we don’t want anyone getting scratched.

  • We will make every effort to guide the goats away from you and not intentionally encourage them to jump on you; however, we can’t guarantee 100% that they won’t try—they are yoga goats and that’s what they love to do! You are also welcome to practice your yoga outside of the enclosure if you feel uncomfortable at any time.

  • If it's raining on the day of the event, we will attempt to re-schedule the class. In the event that we cannot reschedule, we will issue a full refund or a credit for another class or event.
